Japanese streaming platform ABEMA has announced a special campaign titled “Anime 200 Works Free Festival Every Week” (アニメ毎週200作品無料祭), offering free streaming of approximately 200 anime titles per week across four consecutive weeks in August 2026. Each week will feature a different theme, spanning popular long-runners and buzzworthy new titles alike.
Week One: 2026 Broadcast Anime Special
The first week runs from Monday, August 3, 2026 under the theme “2026 Broadcast Anime Special.” It spotlights series that received new seasons in 2026, including Oshi no Ko, Jujutsu Kaisen, Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End), and Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e (Classroom of the Elite). All titles stream from their first season through their latest. The Jujutsu Kaisen block also includes the theatrical film Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Additional titles in the lineup include Majutsushi Kunon wa Mite Iru, Okiraku Ryoushu no Tanoshii Ryouchi Boei, and Kami no Niwa-tsuki Kusunoki-tei, among many related series, bringing the total to around 200 works available at no cost.
