นักแสดงละครเวที Akatsuka Fujio Scrapbook Vol.2 สวมชุดเซเลอร์ในภาพวิชวลใหม่

A new key visual for the stage play Akatsuka Fujio Scrapbook Vol.2 has been unveiled, featuring the main cast dressed in sailor uniforms — considered the signature “formal attire” of the late manga legend Akatsuka Fujio.

About the Production

The show is part of an ongoing stage series celebrating the 90th anniversary of Akatsuka Fujio’s birth. The original Akatsuka Fujio Scrapbook ran in April of last year, blending songs, dance, comedy sketches, and theatrical performance in a scrapbook-style tribute packed with characters and episodes from Akatsuka’s beloved works. Vol.2 continues in the same spirit, with Takahira Tetsuro returning as writer and director.

The production runs from September 11 to 16 at CBGK Shibugeki! in Tokyo.

Cast

Returning cast members from the original production include:

  • ROLLY — as Iyami
  • Matsuda Yoji — as the narrator/guide
  • Hanaki Sachiko
  • Yuki Kazuya

Newly joining the cast for Vol.2 are: Haruna Ai, Kyoyama Yoharu, Ichinose Yu, Hayakawa Iori, Kasahara Orito, Maeda Yuki, Munakata Shoya, Miyauchi Iori, Kuroki Fumitaka, Naito Masahiro, Totsuka Sena, and Yokoyama Munetaka.

Comments from Cast and Staff

ROLLY (as Iyami)

Zans! It’s been a while, zans! I’m thrilled to be cast as Iyami once again! Will I play a university professor? A clumsy guitarist at a dance hall? Or perhaps a match-selling Iyami? Whatever the role, I’m excited — and this time, we’ll all be singing Fujio-chan’s samba together at the top of our lungs, zans!

Kyoyama Yoharu (TEAM A)

It’s a great honor to be part of this special 90th anniversary production. I’ll be giving everything I have — singing, dancing, and acting — in the world of Akatsuka Fujio. Whether you saw Vol.1 or this is your first time, I want everyone to leave the theater feeling happy!

Miyauchi Iori (TEAM B)

I used to watch Tensai Bakabon on TV every morning as a kid and run to school right after. Bakabon Papa’s line “Kore de ii no da” (“This is fine as it is”) sounded funny back then, but as an adult it feels genuinely warm and kind. The comedy hides a real sincerity about people and family — and that’s why everyone can laugh at it. I hope we can bring that same feeling to this stage.

Akatsuka Rieko (Stage Design / Akatsuka Fujio’s daughter)

I’m truly delighted that Takahira-san, who was so close to my father and cherishes so many fond memories of him, is bringing my father’s gag world to the stage for a second time. Whenever I create work using my father’s characters, it feels like playing alongside him. I imagine Takahira-san felt the same joy while crafting this production. If my father could see it, I’m sure he would laugh wholeheartedly and be overjoyed. As his daughter, it makes me deeply happy that people continue to love him even now.
