The sequel season of TV anime Gel Piyo (ゲルぴよ) has been given an official premiere date: October 21, 2026, airing every Wednesday from 21:54 to 22:00 on TOKYO MX1. The announcement also revealed the full cast lineup and theme song details.
About the Series
Gel Piyo is based on the corporate mascot of Taica, a company known for developing and manufacturing its proprietary gel material αGEL (Alpha Gel). The first season aired from January 2026. Like its predecessor, the sequel will feature an all-original story, following the lively and surreal everyday lives of the mysterious creatures known as the “Piyo.”

- Toyama Daisuke (Grunge) — Sumo Piyo
Guest stars include Park Yuchun as a fortune teller, and SU as SU Piyo, a hip-hop legend admired by Mido Piyo.
Theme Songs
The opening theme is “Atto UMA” by SILENT SIREN, while the ending theme is “Ganbatterutte Saikō jan!” by NEVER END ROLL.
SILENT SIREN members Suu and Yamauchi Aina will also voice the three-member band characters Saisai Piyo, while NEVER END ROLL’s Mizushima Airi and Kawamoto Kei take on the roles of Neba En Piyo, a freshly debuted idol group.
