The TV anime Punirunes Puni 4 (ぷにるんず ぷに4) has been officially confirmed to premiere on October 4, 2026. A new main visual for the fourth season has also been revealed.
About Punirunes
Punirunes is an anime adaptation based on Takara Tomy’s “New Texture LCD Osewa Toy” of the same name. The series follows the everyday life of Yuka, an elementary school girl with a love of all things soft and squishy, and the mysterious soft-bodied creatures known as “Punirunes.” The franchise launched its first season in October 2022, followed by a second season in October 2024 and a third season in July 2025.
Season 4 Details and Main Visual
The newly revealed main visual for Punirunes Puni 4 features “Puni School,” the new setting introduced in this season, as its backdrop — with every Punirunes character from across the series gathered together in a single image.
The fourth season will air on TV Tokyo’s six-station network every Sunday at 9:15 a.m., beginning October 4, 2026.
Official YouTube Channel Launched
Alongside the season announcement, an official YouTube channel — Punirunes Channel (ぷにるんずちゃんねる) — has been launched. The channel will stream previously aired episodes, introduce Punirunes merchandise, and deliver exclusive short anime content unavailable anywhere else.
To celebrate the channel’s launch, a full marathon stream of the original Season 1 anime is currently available, running until August 21 at 11:59 p.m.
