Fans of My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア) have another chance to grab a highly detailed piece of merchandise: S.H.Figuarts has opened a second pre-order window for its Black Deku action figure — depicting Midoriya Izuku during his solitary, battle-worn arc — via the Tamashii Web Shop on Bandai Namco’s official e-commerce platform, Premium Bandai.
About My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is based on the hero-action manga by Kōhei Horikoshi, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump for over ten years and has surpassed 100 million copies in worldwide circulation. Set in a world where roughly 80% of the population possesses supernatural abilities known as “Quirks” (個性), the series follows aspiring hero Deku (Midoriya Izuku) and his classmates at U.A. High School as they grow, battle villains, and forge lasting bonds.
The anime debuted in April 2016 and ran for 8 seasons totaling 170 episodes, alongside 4 theatrical films, concluding with its FINAL SEASON. A 10th-anniversary project, My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary, launched in April 2026, including the special episode No.170+1 “More” — an animated adaptation of the bonus episode from the manga’s final volume — and the short anime “I am a hero too,” which began streaming on August 3.
