Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity has made a strong impression at the U.S. box office, grossing a total of US$3,000,000 following a special theatrical run organized by Viz Media and Fathom Entertainment. The screenings took place from June 25 to 29, presenting the anime’s first three episodes across 943 theaters nationwide.
Audiences had the choice of watching in Japanese with English subtitles or in the English dub. Both versions were accompanied by an exclusive behind-the-scenes conversation featuring series creator Tite Kubo, chief series director Tomohisa Taguchi, and series director Hikaru Murata.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity is set to premiere in Japan on July 25 on TV Tokyo at 11:00 p.m. JST (10:00 a.m. EDT). Subsequent broadcasts are scheduled as follows:
- July 27 — BS TV Tokyo
- August 2 — AT-X
- August 4 — Hiroshima TV and Niigata Broadcasting
- August 10 — Sendai Broadcasting
Japanese streaming services will begin carrying the series from July 26 at noon.

Series Overview
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War adapts the final arc of Tite Kubo’s original manga, spanning volumes 55 through 74. The anime is structured across four cours with breaks between each.
- Part 1 aired October–December 2022, concluding with a one-hour special combining episodes 12 and 13.
- Part 2 launched in July 2023 on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ in select international territories.
- Part 3 – The Conflict premiered in October 2024 and wrapped up with a one-hour finale in December 2024.
- Part 4 – The Calamity is the upcoming installment now heading to Japanese television.
The series is currently available on Hulu in the United States, Disney+ internationally, and via Ani-One Asia across much of the Asian region.
