ตัวละครจาก Blue Lock ในชุดยูกาตะดีไซน์พิเศษสำหรับคอลแลบกับ Kimono Rental VASARA

The TV anime Blue Lock is teaming up with Japanese kimono rental chain Kimono Rental VASARA for a limited collaboration event titled “Blue Lock × 着物レンタルVASARA ~YUKATA SELECTION~”. Running from July 6 to August 31, 2026, the event offers special yukata rental plans, exclusive merchandise, and in-store character panels at participating branches across Japan.

About Blue Lock

Blue Lock is a soccer manga serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine, written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The story follows 300 high school strikers competing in a brutal survival selection program — the “Blue Lock” project — designed to forge Japan’s greatest-ever striker and lead the national team to a World Cup title.

The TV anime’s first season aired in October 2022, followed by Season 2, Blue Lock VS. U-20 JAPAN, in October 2024. A live-action film is scheduled for release on August 7, 2026, and a further anime series continuation has also been announced.

Character Yukata Designs

The collaboration introduces brand-new yukata designs inspired by each character’s personal tastes, drawing on information from Blue Lock Character Book EGOIST BIBLE VOL.2. Both the yukata fabric patterns and obi sashes reflect each character’s favorite things.

  • Yoichi Isagi — Jigsaw puzzle-patterned yukata; obi features his favorite animal, the spiny lobster (he likes its shape).
  • Rin Itoshi — Simple black yukata; obi decorated with his favorite animal, the owl.
  • Seishiro Nagi — Yukata patterned with the fan cactus he keeps in his room; obi features his favorite animal, the sloth.
  • Meguru Bachira — Obi and hand-held kinchaku bag feature his favorite food, canned pineapple; the bright yellow design suits his cheerful personality perfectly.
  • Hyoma Chigiri — Yukata with a silvervine leaf pattern; deep-pink obi features his favorite animal, the black cat; kinchaku bag printed with cat paw prints.
  • Yo Hiori — Snowflake-patterned yukata; obi features his favorite animal, the sheep (he feels a kinship because his name contains the character for “sheep”).

Collaboration Plans and Novelty Gifts

Customers who book the Yukata Collaboration Plan during the event period will receive a set of limited novelty items: a paper fan, tote bag, and acrylic keychain. Additionally, posting a photo in yukata or with collaboration goods on X (Twitter) using the hashtag #ブルーロック浴衣セレクション and showing the post to staff on the day of rental will earn a special collaboration postcard.

Plan pricing is as follows:

  • Women’s yukata plan: ¥5,390 (tax included)
  • Men’s yukata plan: ¥8,690 (tax included)

Exclusive Merchandise

Original collaboration goods — including acrylic stands, stickers, can badges, scrunchies, and hair ties — will be sold at participating stores and on the official EC site. EC sales begin on July 6, 2026 at 12:00 noon, with shipping scheduled from late September 2026. Note that in-store purchases are limited to customers using a collaboration plan; walk-in merchandise-only visits are not permitted.

To celebrate VASARA’s 10th anniversary, the collaboration will also produce a strictly limited run of 50 sets of women’s yukata sets (yukata, obi, obi clasp, and hair ornament) inspired by the character designs — a truly one-of-a-kind item for dedicated fans.

Character Panels at Participating Stores

Life-size character panels of Isagi, Itoshi, Nagi, Bachira, Chigiri, and Hiori — all dressed in their collaboration yukata — will be displayed at select VASARA branches, giving fans the chance to take commemorative photos alongside their favorite characters. The full lineup of six panels is available at the Sendai, Asakusa Temple, Akihabara, Ikebukuro, Nagoya, Kurashiki, and Fukuoka Tenjin branches, among others, while other locations feature a partial selection.
