Blue Lock fans, get ready. Muneyuki Kaneshiro, original creator of the hit manga, will take part in a special conversation with legendary former Japan national soccer team player Hidetoshi Nakata. The interview will appear in issue 29 of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine (週刊少年マガジン), which goes on sale on June 17.
The announcement was made for the special occasion of “Blue Lock Day,” which falls on June 9. It was revealed that Nakata is a devoted manga fan, and in this conversation he will speak openly about his feelings and ideas regarding both soccer and life.

In addition to the interview, the staff has another gift for fans: a special support image generator (応援画像ジェネレーター) that will launch soon on the official website for the original Blue Lock manga. Users will be able to choose characters from the series and add their own support messages to create exclusive custom images.
