The animated film Cho Kaguya-hime! (超かぐや姫！) is getting its own pop-up retail event — the “Movie ‘Cho Kaguya-hime!’ Gamers POP-UP STORE” — running from September 12 to October 4, 2026 at six Gamers locations across Japan and through the Gamers Online Shop.
About Cho Kaguya-hime!
Cho Kaguya-hime! is an original feature-length anime that began streaming on Netflix on January 22, 2026. The story follows high-schooler Ayaha Sakiyori, who encounters a mysterious girl named Kaguya and the two embark on adventures together inside a virtual space called Tsukuyomi. The film opened in Japanese theaters on February 20 and, by the time it concluded its theatrical run on June 18, had drawn a cumulative audience of 1.34 million viewers and grossed 2.7 billion yen. A special-format revival screening is set to begin on September 18.
