TV anime Chojun! Chojo-senpai (超巡!超条先輩) has revealed its main visual and first main PV, along with the full eight-member voice cast.

About the Series

Based on the manga by Numa Shun, Chojun! Chojo-senpai is a supernatural police comedy that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2024 to June 2025. The story follows Chojo Jun, an elite investigator who wields every psychic ability imaginable — mind-reading, clairvoyance, telepathy and more — alongside Ippongi Nao, a rookie officer and black-belt judoka so powerful she’s nicknamed “Gorilla.” Together, this strongest(?) buddy duo keeps the peace in Chinjuku Kabukicho, one of Japan’s most vibrant entertainment districts.

The series has won the Next Manga Award two years running — 6th place in the comics division in 2024 and 3rd place in 2025 — and has surpassed 300,000 copies in circulation including digital editions.

Main Visual & PV

The newly released main visual features Chojo Jun and Ippongi Nao alongside the colorful residents of Chinjuku Kabukicho. The first main PV showcases the cast’s voices for the first time, with rapid-fire dialogue exchanges that capture the high-energy comedic tone of the series.

Cast Comments

Kobayashi Yusuke (Chojo Jun): “I’m voicing Chojo Jun — he’s a scoundrel! But he can be cool sometimes! Though ultimately he’s still a scoundrel!! I’m playing up the contrast in his personality to the point of heartburn. Every cast member is giving it their all, sweating through this comedy. I hope everyone enjoys it!”

Aono Rikoko (Ippongi Nao): “Nao-chan isn’t just cute — she’s strong both mentally and physically. She has a warmth that lets her notice Jun’s clumsy kindness. Recording was a blast; the snappy dialogue was so fun, and I put everything into the tsukkomi so I wouldn’t get left behind. Please watch with lots of laughs!”

Naganawa Maria (Robo-kun): “I love Robo-kun’s sparkling eyes, tiny mouth, cute cheeks, his polite and capable demeanor — and especially the way he looks down on humans. I’ll do my best to deliver his charm, whether I have to become a car, a UFO Catcher, or whatever that thing at the family restaurant is!”

Ono Daisuke (Inukai Yuki): “The recording studio is full of smiles. Gag manga is just plain fun. I’m playing Inukai cool, passionate, and with serious weight. Look forward to it!”

Miyata Toshiya (Enain Hajime): “I’m playing Enain Hajime. Recording has been a joy — I’m constantly holding back laughter. This one is guaranteed to have you in stitches. Please look forward to Chojun! Chojo-senpai!”

Kanemitsu Nobuaki (Hoss-san): “Is everyone drinking~? I’m sober~ ♪ Hoss-san is a wonderfully free-spirited guy, and I’m playing him with total freedom too! Enjoy the fusion of ‘Hoss-san’ and ‘Kanemitsu,’ two old guys becoming one~! *hic* ♪”

Nakamura Kanna (Togari Riri): “Riri is a composed, cat-loving gal with some unexpected sides to her. The recording sessions are full of people hungry for laughs. More and more intense characters keep showing up — Chinjuku Kabukicho is full of weirdos, but Riri is perfectly normal. There are so many hilarious moments; I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”

Urawa Ki (Ban Heisuke): “Hello everyone living in the Reiwa era! I’m so happy to be involved in a work by Numa Shun-sensei. Ban Heisuke is a middle schooler with an intensely old-fashioned personality. I sweated through every take trying to express his straightforward honesty toward his own desires. I hope you enjoy his soul’s roar in the anime!”
