The original animated film Chou Kaguya-hime! has concluded its revival theatrical run on November 5, with organizers announcing a one-week-limited 4DX / ULTRA 4DX encore beginning November 6.
A Softer 4DX Experience: “Geni Yasashiki 4DX”
During the encore run, select theaters will screen a specially adjusted version titled Geni Yasashiki 4DX (げにやさしき4DX), which tones down the more intense physical effects in order to deepen audience immersion in the film itself. Separately, a second-run theatrical engagement is also planned from November 6 at venues different from those that hosted the revival screenings.
Sixth Wave of Admission Gifts: Scene Photo Postcards from the “ray” MV
From October 23, attendees have been receiving the sixth wave of admission gifts: a set of six “ray Chou Kaguya-hime! Version” scene photo postcards (vol.2). The six cards are based on illustrations that appeared in the intro of the music video ray Chou Kaguya-hime! Version, depicting the protagonist’s childhood and an epilogue — scenes not shown in the main feature film.
