Crunchyroll and Starz have announced a new subscription bundle available through Amazon Prime Video for customers in the United States. Starz’s standard monthly bundle is priced at US$11.99 per month.
Crunchyroll’s Current Subscription Pricing
Crunchyroll raised the prices across all of its U.S. subscription tiers last February. The updated pricing is as follows:
- Fan Tier: increased from US$7.99 to US$9.99/month
- Mega Fan Tier: increased from US$11.99 to US$13.99/month
- Ultimate Fan Tier: increased from US$15.99 to US$17.99/month
What Each Tier Offers
The Fan Tier is ad-free and gives subscribers access to new simulcast episodes as they premiere.
The Mega Fan Tier includes everything in the Fan Tier, plus offline viewing, simultaneous streaming on up to four devices, a 10% discount on select products, and free shipping on Crunchyroll Store orders over US$50.
The Ultimate Fan Tier includes all Fan Tier benefits along with offline viewing, up to six simultaneous streams, a 15% discount on select products, free shipping on all Crunchyroll Store orders, an annual Ultimate Fan swag bag, and access to exclusive member-only merchandise.
End of Free Ad-Supported Streaming
Crunchyroll discontinued its free ad-supported streaming option on December 31.
