Idol group CUTIE STREET has been announced as guest voice actors in the Pokémon TV anime, voicing the eight-Pikachu idol unit “Cutie Picapikachu” (キューティーピカピカ) in Episode 147, set to air on August 28.

Titled 「激エモ！ポケモンコンテストざます!!」, the episode follows Liko (Liko) as she enters a Pokémon Contest alongside Masquerain, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval. The contest draws a field of skilled competitors, with Cutie Picapikachu among the standout participants.
CUTIE STREET’s Connection to the Pokémon Anime
CUTIE STREET already has ties to the series as the performers of the anime’s ending theme「キュートなキューたい」. The Cutie Picapikachu group also appears on the cover of the “Anipoke × Kyusto” edition CD of the single 「キュートなキューたい / ナイスだね」.

Anime MV for Opening Theme “Sekai Tsunagare”
An animated music video for the opening theme「セカイツナガレ」(“Sekai Tsunagare”), performed by Liko and Roy, has also been released. The MV captures the excitement of the “Wonder Voyage” arc and depicts Liko and her companions’ adventure with new members Navi and Metamon (Ditto) joining the journey.
