The production team behind Detective Conan (名探偵コナン), based on the manga by Aoyama Gosho, has released the main visual and a special “All-Hands” promotional video for the 30th-anniversary TV special Detective Conan: Case 30 (名探偵コナン 30号殺人事件). It has also been confirmed that the theme song will be “Hallelujah” (ハレルヤ), performed by Mai Kuraki (倉木麻衣).
Story & Broadcast Details
Detective Conan: Case 30 will air on Nippon TV’s Friday Road Show on September 25 at 9:00 p.m. JST. The story follows Conan and his allies as they confront a national crisis triggered by the counterfeiting of new banknotes. The main visual brings together 16 characters from the special, while the “All-Hands PV” offers a glimpse of each character in action.
Theme Song: “Hallelujah” by Mai Kuraki
The theme song “Hallelujah” was composed exclusively for Case 30, marking Mai Kuraki’s 29th song for the Detective Conan franchise — a remarkable milestone in the long-running series.
In a comment accompanying the announcement, Mai Kuraki said:
“I am so happy and honored to be in charge of the theme song. I poured my love and gratitude into this two-hour special with all my heart. No matter what environment or situation you’re in — even when you feel like giving up — believe in yourself, embrace and love everything as it is, because simply being yourself is a one-of-a-kind shining star. Three-Week Consecutive Broadcast: “Akaneiro no Senrakku”
It was also announced that starting September 26 at 6:00 p.m. JST, a three-week consecutive broadcast of “Akaneiro no Senrakku” (茜色の千秋楽) will begin. The arc is adapted from volume 106 of the original manga and is set in Osaka. Its main visual depicts Heiji Hattori adjusting his cap in front of the landmark Naniwa Harukas building, with Kazuha Toyama turning to look at him from behind.
Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2026
Additionally, voice actors Hōrikawa Ryō (Heiji Hattori) and Miyamura Yūko (Kazuha Toyama) are set to appear on stage at the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2026, held on September 19 at Miyakomesse in Kyoto. The official Detective Conan anime account on X is currently accepting fan questions to be directed to the two voice actors at the event.
