Three-Part Arc: “Akane-iro no Senshuuraku”
Episode 1216 is the final installment of the three-week consecutive arc “Akane-iro no Senshuuraku”, adapted from a popular episode collected in volume 106 of the original manga. The subtitle “Tairaku” refers to the final performance of a theatrical run.
Episode 1216 Synopsis
A string of murders continues at the Naniwa Arts Theater (浪速芸術劇場), with the perpetrator leaving behind the cryptic message: “We are the puppet devil.” Even as a third victim falls, Conan and Heiji finally uncover the truth behind the case.
Yet the stage of tragedy is not finished. The killer’s final scheme is set in motion…
Meanwhile, Kazuha — invited by Heiji — heads to Naniwa Harukas (浪速ハルカス) together with Ran. As the setting sun dyes the Osaka sky a deep crimson, both the Naniwa serial murder case and Heiji’s long-awaited confession are finally reaching their curtain call.
