About Detective Conan
Detective Conan is a mystery manga by Gosho Aoyama, serialised in Weekly Shonen Sunday since 1994. The story follows high-school detective Shinichi Kudo, who is shrunk into a child’s body by a mysterious black-clad organisation and must solve cases under the alias Edogawa Conan. Volume 108 of the manga was released in April 2026. The TV anime, which began airing in 1996, has now surpassed 1,100 episodes across more than 25 years on air. The 29th theatrical film, Detective Conan: The Angel of Death on the Highway (ハイウェイの堕天使), opened on 10 April 2026 and is tracking ahead of its predecessor at the box office.
