To celebrate the first anniversary of its theatrical release, Eiga Odekake Kozame: Tokai no Otomodachi will be available to watch for free in full on the official “Odekake Kozame” YouTube channel on August 22, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM JST as a one-time Premiere stream. Viewers are advised that no archive will be available after the event, so this is a watch-it-live opportunity only.
Based on the original work by Penguinbox, the film is the first theatrical feature for the YouTube anime series “Odekake Kozame.” The story follows little shark Kozame-chan on a small but grand adventure as she boards a train from her hometown of Hachiocho and heads to the big city, where she makes a host of new friends along the way.
