Bandai’s apparel label STRICT-G has announced a new line of color graphic T-shirts under the STRICT-G The Animation banner, drawing on the iconic imagery of Mobile Suit Gundam (機動戦士ガンダム). Pre-orders open on Premium Bandai on Friday, 7 August 2026 at 13:00 JST.
Over 45 Years of Gundam
The Gundam Series launched with Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979 and has continued for more than 45 years, spanning TV anime, theatrical films, manga, novels, video games, and plastic model kits. The franchise is distinguished by its weighty portrayal of war, politics, and human drama set against large-scale Mobile Suit combat.

STRICT-G The Animation is designed for an era in which anime has become part of mainstream daily life rather than a niche hobby. The line emphasises Made in Japan craftsmanship — quality fabric, precise stitching, and silhouettes tailored to fit Japanese body proportions — while bringing the world of Gundam into casual, wearable form.
