Haikyuu!! is heading to the fish-cake shop! A new collaboration between the beloved volleyball anime and long-established Miyagi kamaboko maker Kanesaki (鐘崎) has been announced, with products going on sale from Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Kanesaki Sohonten Sasakamacan and participating locations.
About Haikyuu!!
Haikyuu!! is a manga by Haruichi Furudate, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, following high school boys who pour their hearts into volleyball. The TV anime began airing in 2014, and the theatrical film Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle opened on February 16, 2024. Looking ahead to 2027, the film Haikyuu!! VS Little Giant — depicting the clash between Karasuno and Kamomedai — and the special anime Haikyuu!! Bakemono-tachi no Yukutokoro — covering the battle between Fukurodani Academy and Mujinazaka — have both been confirmed.
The Collab: New Artwork, Exclusive Packaging
Two of Kanesaki’s popular products, Date-age (伊達揚げ) and Dairyobata (大漁旗), will receive special Haikyuu!! packaging featuring all-new, original illustrations of Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio visiting the Sasakamacan store and happily enjoying Miyagi’s soul food — sasa-kamaboko.
Product Details
- Date-age — A bite-sized kamaboko with the distinctive aroma of Sendai miso. Comes with a Hinata keychain.
- Dairyobata — Kanesaki’s flagship premium sasa-kamaboko, the undisputed “king” of the lineup. Comes with a Kageyama keychain.
An online set bundling Dairyobata (4 pieces) and Date-age (6 pieces) will also be available, with a bonus clear card featuring illustrations of both Hinata and Kageyama.
