Kadokawa has released a new promotional video and visual for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Dōmo, Sukina Hito ni Horegusuri o Irai Sareta Majo Desu. (Hello, I Am a Witch and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion!), the light novel series written by Eiko Mutsuhana with illustrations by Vient. The video confirms additional cast and staff members, the anime’s theme songs, and its premiere date.
Premiere & Streaming
The anime is set to debut on October 5 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, with MBS following on October 6. Streaming begins October 5 on d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai, with additional streaming platforms joining on October 10.
Theme Songs
The new promo previews both theme songs: the opening theme “Kanawanai” (I Can’t Compare) performed by Centimillimental, and the ending theme “Mada Uso ni wa Naranai” (It’s Still Not a Lie) performed by Rainy.

Story
The Good Witch of the Lake’s four-year crush ended in heartbreak with a single request from the object of her affections! This is the heartwarming story of a shut-in witch and an arrogant, straitlaced knight whose romance starts from a love potion.
Background
Mutsuhana originally serialized the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from April 2019, concluding in March 2020. Futabasha began publishing the print edition with Vient’s illustrations in October 2019, releasing the second volume in March 2020.
Kamada‘s manga adaptation runs on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website; the sixth volume was published on February 5. Yen Press releases the manga in English under the title Hi, I’m a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion, with the fifth volume released on January 20.
