The upcoming summer 2026 TV anime Heroine? Seijo? Iie, All Works Maid desu (Ко)! has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for its first episode, “The Girl Who Wanted to Be a Maid,” set to air on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
About the Series
The anime is based on the light novel by Atekichi, published by TO Books and also adapted into manga. The series is described as a “misunderstanding job fantasy”: Melody, who was destined to be the heroine (holy maiden) that saves the world of the otome game Silver Saint and the Five Vows from a demon king’s destruction, has instead devoted all her abilities to maid work — becoming a flawless All Works Maid. With the holy maiden absent from the scenario, the story explores just how unpredictably the world will unravel.
Episode 1 Synopsis — “The Girl Who Wanted to Be a Maid”
Two weeks ago, the Rutruburg estate was a sorry sight — crows swarming a crumbling mansion, the gate eaten through with rust. When a group of friends visits again, they can barely believe the transformation. Luciana greets them with a newfound elegance, and the tea she serves is of the finest quality.
The reason for it all is a single maid named Melody. A young woman who loves and admires the profession above all else, she has come to the Rutruburg household with one goal: to become an All Works Maid — solely responsible for every task in the house.
