Natsume’s Book of Friends (夏目友人帳) is getting its own Ichiban Kuji lottery set titled “Ichiban Kuji Natsume Yuujinchou: Ame no Hi mo, Hare no Hi mo.” (Rain or Shine) The set is scheduled to roll out in stores from Friday, August 14, 2026.
About Natsume’s Book of Friends
Based on the manga by Yuki Midorikawa, serialized in Monthly LaLa, the series follows Takashi Natsume, a lonely boy who can see spirits. After inheriting his late grandmother Reiko’s “Book of Friends” — a ledger of contracts she made with various yokai — Natsume finds himself pursued by spirits seeking to reclaim their names, with the self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei by his side.
The TV anime has run for six seasons since its 2008 debut, with Season 7, Natsume Yuujinchou Shichi, premiering on October 7, 2024. Hiroshi Kamiya voices Natsume and Kazuhiko Inoue voices Nyanko-sensei.
