The special livestream for Idolmaster SideM (アイドルマスター SideM), broadcast on September 1, delivered a major announcement: the debut of Ino Koki (伊能幸輝) as the new voice actor for Kanon Himeno (姫野かのん), taking over the role from Murase Ayumu.
About Idolmaster SideM
Idolmaster SideM launched in July 2014 as a “Dramatic Idol Training Game” built around the concept of “There’s a reason to become an idol!” It was the first title in the Idolmaster franchise to focus on producing male idols. Players take on the role of a producer at 315 Production, guiding a diverse roster of male idols — including former doctors, part-timers, and self-defense force members — toward the top of the industry. The franchise has expanded well beyond the game itself, encompassing merchandise, music, live events, and radio programs.
Kanon Himeno is a former child actor turned idol within the story, and a member of the kids idol unit Mofumofu-en (もふもふえん) alongside Shiro Tachibana (橘志狼) (CV. Keisuke Furuhata) and Nao Okamura (岡村直央) (CV. Shogo Yano).
