The teaser offers a first look at Kuroki being thoroughly swept off his feet by Jibara Mai, the girl who ends up sitting next to him after a new-semester seat shuffle. Clips also hint at the unexpectedly surprising sides Jibara-san reveals as she spends time with Kuroki, all wrapped in her signature air of mystery.

Jirai Nandesuka? Jibara-san is a school comedy following Kuroki, an unremarkable second-year high school boy, and Jibara-san, a girl rumored by classmates to be a “jirai-kei” type — someone who looks cute but could “explode” at any moment. The anime is scheduled to begin its simultaneous nationwide broadcast in January 2027 on MBS/TBS and 28 affiliated stations in the “Super Animeism TURBO” programming block.
