ภาพคีย์วิชวลของเกม Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON แสดงตัวละครในสไตล์พิกเซลอาร์ต

The release of Jujutsu Kaisen RUMBLE: SURVIVATON has been officially pushed back from 2026 to 2027. The developers cited a desire to deliver the game in the best possible form. A specific launch date will be announced at a later time.

About the Game

RUMBLE: SURVIVATON is a Survivors Royale action game set in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, the dark-fantasy manga by Gege Akutami that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2018 to 2024. The series spans 30 volumes and has surpassed 150 million copies sold worldwide (including digital). Players take on the roles of characters from the series, battling cursed spirits and rival players while growing stronger through combat — with the goal of being the last one standing.

The game is being developed by poncle, the studio founded by Luca Galante and best known for the global hit Vampire Survivors. It will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, supporting one to eight players with both online multiplayer and solo modes. Pricing and age rating have not yet been announced.

Second Trailer: Eight Bosses Revealed

The newly released second trailer showcases the key visual that debuted at Juju Fes 2026, the Jujutsu Kaisen 5th-anniversary event held last month, alongside attack footage of playable characters from the TGS 2026 playtest build.

A total of eight bosses have now been confirmed. Naoya Zenin and Kenjaku, first revealed at Juju Fes 2026, are joined by Junpei Yoshino, Jogo, Mahito, Uraume, Daisho, and Toji Fushiguro — all making their debut in this trailer. Each boss is rendered in pixel-art animation and will appear as an enemy in the TGS 2026 playtest version.

The “Co-op Build” System

A hallmark of Vampire Survivors is building up weapon combinations through leveling up, and RUMBLE: SURVIVATON reimagines this as the “Co-op Build” (共闘ビルド) system, designed to evoke the feeling of fighting alongside allies. On leveling up, players can not only upgrade their own character’s abilities but also incorporate the skills of other characters into their own attack build.

World-First Playtest at TGS 2026

Tokyo Game Show 2026 runs from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe, with the Shueisha Games booth located in Hall 5 (05-C10). This will mark the game’s world-first public playtest.

The playtest features an online Battle Royale mode for up to eight players competing for points. The top two point-earners advance to a head-to-head final, with the winner crowned champion. Matches will be broadcast live on booth screens with commentary from esports casters, so spectators can enjoy the action even without playing.

Freebies for Participants

Everyone who adds the game to their wishlist or participates in the playtest will receive an original pixel sticker and fan set. The sticker set features ten designs — all drawn in poncle’s pixel-art style based on the key visual characters. Each participant is guaranteed one Yuji Itadori sticker plus one random sticker from the remaining nine designs. The front of the fan features a special illustration of Yuji Itadori drawn by MAPPA exclusively for the game, while the back depicts a pixel-art battle scene filled with cursed spirits.

Playtest winners will receive a complete set of all ten pixel stickers as a special prize. Supplies are limited and may run out before the event ends.

The third season of the Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime, subtitled “Culling Game — First Arc,” aired from January through late March 2026.
