The anime Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Chojin Shiso-hen is continuing its monthly character song campaign with its second release: “Kung Fu Saga,” performed by Seki Tomokazu as Ramen Man. The track is set to drop digitally on August 29, 2026.

Ramen Man’s First New Character Song in About 30 Years

“Kung Fu Saga” marks Ramen Man’s first new character song in roughly 30 years. True to the character’s identity as a master of Chinese martial arts, the song is packed with kung fu spirit from start to finish — an upbeat, high-energy track designed to fire up listeners before a big fight.

Seki Tomokazu’s Comment

“I’m so happy to get to sing a character song for Kinnikuman! As I was recording, I felt like I actually became Ramen Man (laughs). The song is cool and really captures everything great about the character, so I hope everyone gets fired up alongside me — HWAAAH!”

— Seki Tomokazu

About Kinnikuman

Kinnikuman is a fighting manga by the duo Yudetamago — writer Shimada Takashi and artist Nakai Yoshinori — which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1979. The series follows Kinnikuman, a clumsy, good-for-nothing superhuman from Planet Kinniku who gradually rises to become the strongest fighter in the superhuman world through effort, friendship, and victory. The manga continues to run today in Weekly Playboy and Shupure NEWS, with the series surpassing 85 million copies across 93 volumes. The original anime aired from 1983, and the Kinkeshi rubber figure line sold over 180 million units.

The Anime and Season 3

Produced by Production I.G, Kinnikuman: Kanpeki Chojin Shiso-hen adapts the fan-favorite “Perfect Origin” arc, picking up after the Kinniku Throne Succession arc. Two seasons have aired so far, and Season 3 has officially been greenlit. The main cast includes Miyano Mamoru as Kinnikuman and Kamiya Akira as both Kinnikuman Mayumi and Prince Kamehame.

The character song project releases a new Justice Superhuman track on the 29th of each month. The campaign kicked off on July 29 with a song for Meat-kun (CV. Uesaka Sumire), and Ramen Man’s “Kung Fu Saga” is next in line.
