The LUPIN THE GALLERY collectible series — which recreates the world of Lupin the Third (ルパン三世) through iconic vehicles and characters — is back with its long-awaited fourth entry, released as a 55th Anniversary Limited Model. Pre-orders opened on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. JST.
About Lupin the Third
Based on the manga of the same name by Monkey Punch, Lupin the Third follows Lupin III — grandson of the legendary thief Arsène Lupin — alongside his crew of Daisuke Jigen, Goemon Ishikawa, and Fujiko Mine, as they are perpetually pursued by the tenacious Inspector Zenigata. The anime first aired in 1971, making 2026 its 55th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a large-scale fan vote for the most popular episodes launched on 10 June, with the winning selections set to air as 「ルパン三世傑作選」 on Nippon TV and other channels in October 2026.
Ice-Blue Car from the PART1 Finale
The centerpiece of this release is Lupin’s beloved car as it appeared in the final episode of Lupin the Third PART1, 「黄金の大勝負！」(The Great Gold Gamble!), rendered at approximately 1/20 scale. The model is based on the LUPIN THE GALLERY Vol. 1 release 「画策のサンマリノ」 from 2017, with the car’s color changed to a striking ice-blue finish evoking the atmosphere of that iconic finale.
Lupin and Jigen Figures Included
The set also includes pre-painted figures of Lupin III and Daisuke Jigen at the same scale. Lupin is dressed in his signature green jacket and yellow necktie, while Jigen wears a blue shirt — faithfully recreating the look of the PART1 finale.
Special 55th Anniversary Acrylic Base
Rounding out the package is a special acrylic display base featuring the 55th anniversary logo, making this a must-have commemorative item for fans and collectors alike.
