The manga Kādo Gēmu de Sekai ga Horobiru Sekai ni Tensei shite Kādo Shoppu wo Kaiten shitara, Shūi kara Zensaku Shujinkō da to Omowarete iru — loosely translated as “I Reincarnated Into a World Where Card Games Can Destroy Everything and Opened a Card Shop, But Everyone Thinks I’m the Hero from the Previous Arc” — launched its first volume on August 7, 2026, published by Bushiroad Comics.
The series is a manga adaptation of the original novel by Akatsuki Tachi (暁刀魚), with art by Mikami Mikami (三神みかみ).
Story
The protagonist, Tanafuda Mitsuru, is a hardcore trading card game (TCG) fan who gets reincarnated into a world where card games wield absurd, world-destroying power — the kind of over-the-top setting you’d only expect in a wild anime series.
Delighted by his new surroundings, Mitsuru decides to live as close to card games as possible by opening his own card shop. His biggest headache, however, is that skilled fighters around him are convinced he is the “hero of a previous era” — a legendary figure who once performed great deeds but now keeps a low profile. Mitsuru must constantly deal with this case of mistaken identity.
