The Movie: The Mysterious Garden and the Secret of 2 People) — the theatrical film for Star Detective Precure!, the 23rd main entry in the Precure franchise — released the film’s main trailer on Sunday, along with a full staff announcement.
Songs
The trailer confirms that the film’s ending theme is “FIRST PRISM”, performed by Yūka Masui and Chihaya Yoshitake. The team also announced the insert song “First Step”, performed by Ami Ishii. Dance lesson videos for both songs have been released alongside the trailer.

Story
While the Detective Precure are investigating the “X Mark Incident,” a fairy named Rain appears and asks for their help. Rain leads the team to a beautiful garden called “Karin’s Garden,” which has been overrun by tiny creatures known as “Dame Dame.” As the team digs into the mystery, they uncover a secret hidden within the garden. Characters from You and Idol Precure♪ and Wonderful Precure! will also make appearances in the film.
The film opens in Japan on September 18.
About the Series
Star Detective Precure! began airing on February 1 on ABC TV, TV Asahi, and affiliated channels at 8:30 a.m. JST. Crunchyroll streams the series in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and CIS.
The series follows Anna Akechi, a second-year middle school student in Makoto Mirai Town, who travels back in time from 2027 to 1999 when her companion fairy Pochitan appears on her birthday. In 1999, she meets Mikuru Kobayashi, a fellow second-year student who dreams of becoming a great detective. Together, they transform into Precure detectives to stop the Phantom Thieves from stealing people’s most treasured belongings.
