OceanVeil announced on October 6 that it will begin streaming the Korean-animated boys-love series One-Room TA on November 13 at 10:00 a.m. PST (1:00 p.m. EST). The acquisition marks the platform’s first foray into Korean animation as it broadens its catalog beyond Japanese anime.
Story and Source Material
Produced by Laftel, the series is based on the webtoon of the same name by creator Jibung. The story centers on university student U-yun Song, who confesses his feelings to graduate teaching assistant Jin-hyeong Woo. After the two begin dating, they move into a one-room apartment together — where U-yun soon discovers that the outwardly aloof Jin-hyeong is secretly an avid BL novel enthusiast who loves acting out classic romance tropes in real life.
Cast
- Beom-sik Shin as U-yun Song
- Seong-woo Kang as Jin-hyeong Woo
- Eui-jin Jung as Eun-oh Ji
