Story
Chiyo is a high school girl who has worked hard on self-improvement to overcome her personal insecurities. One day she falls down a staircase and wakes up reincarnated as Venessa, the daughter of a duke’s household in an 18th-century aristocratic society. Thrilled at the prospect of the glamorous life she always dreamed of, Chiyo soon discovers a harsh reality: Venessa is set to marry Alfred, a sarcastic and disagreeable king, in order to settle her family’s debts. However, Alfred has no desire for a real marriage either, and he proposes a one-year fake marriage arrangement — setting the stage for an unexpected royal romance.
