About the Monogatari Series
The 〈Monogatari〉Series began as a light novel series written by Nisio Isin, published by Kodansha from 2006. The stories follow protagonist Araragi Koyomi and various girls entangled in supernatural phenomena known as oddities (怪異). The franchise first received an anime adaptation with Bakemonogatari in 2009 and has continued to release new animated entries ever since. Most recently, a new episode titled 「Waza Monogatari: Karen Ogre (業物語 かれんオウガ)」 has been announced for broadcast in winter 2026.
