Premium Masterline has announced a new 1/4-scale statue of Albedo from the dark fantasy anime Overlord, titled “Albedo ED Ver.” Pre-orders opened on August 19, 2026, with the figure scheduled to ship between January and April 2028.
About Overlord
Overlord is a dark fantasy light novel series by Maruyama Kugane, published by KADOKAWA. The story follows a protagonist who is transported into a fantasy world resembling the virtual reality online game he once played, where he takes on the identity of Ainz Ooal Gown — an all-powerful skeletal overlord bent on world domination.
The TV anime has aired four seasons: Season 1 (July–September 2015), Season 2 (January–April 2018), Season 3 (July–October 2018), and Season 4 (July–September 2022). A theatrical compilation film was released in 2017, and a fully original theatrical film, Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, premiered in September 2024.
Inspired by so-bin’s Iconic Ending Illustration
The statue is based on an illustration by so-bin that appeared in the ending sequence of Overlord Season 1 — an image that has remained etched in fans’ memories ever since. The pose, with Albedo lying on her back with both arms outstretched, blends an air of sanctity with barely concealed desire.
The face and base have been carefully angled so that Albedo’s upward gaze meets the viewer directly. Her folded wings and cascading hair both serve as visual lines that draw the eye inward toward her, creating an intimate sense of closeness.
Craftsmanship in Every Detail
Albedo’s skin tone is rendered in a porcelain-like finish that merges 2D color sensibilities with three-dimensional depth, conveying both an otherworldly coldness and a simmering inner passion. Her hair is built up through multiple layers of paint for a rich, textured look. The costume features a noble, refined surface texture, while her wings transition from jet black through metallic blue to translucent white in a breathtaking gradient.
