The popular sleep-tracking game app Pokémon Sleep is turning three, and to mark the occasion, a large-scale anniversary event titled “Pokémon Sleep 3rd Anniversary 横浜でみっけ！ポケモンねがおリサーチ presented by MITSUBISHI ESTATE GROUP” will be held at Yokohama’s Minatomirai district from July 17 to August 23, 2026. The event spans two major shopping complexes — Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minatomirai — and offers a range of free and paid activities for fans.

About Pokémon Sleep

Launched in July 2023, Pokémon Sleep is a smartphone app that tracks, records, and analyses users’ sleep patterns. Based on how you sleep, different Pokémon with matching sleep styles gather around Snorlax, and players can collect their sleeping faces. Since 2024, the app has also supported data syncing with smartwatches. The app’s official global third anniversary falls on July 20, 2026.

Sleeping Pokémon Hidden Throughout the Venue

During the event period, Pokémon including Dedenne, Mimikyu, Marshtomp, and Kangaskhan will be found snoozing in various spots across both Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minatomirai, inviting visitors to conduct their own “Sleeping Face Research.”

Stamp Rally

A free stamp rally will run throughout the event. Visitors can pick up a stamp sheet at the MARK IS Minatomirai B4F “Ekimae Hiroba” plaza — just outside the central ticket gate of Minatomirai Station, where a Snorlax will be waiting to greet them — then hunt for stamp corners across both venues. Since the rally takes place entirely indoors in air-conditioned buildings, it’s a comfortable activity even during the height of summer.

Giant Snorlax Photo Spot and Message Corner

Landmark Plaza will feature a dedicated area with an oversized sleeping Snorlax surrounded by photos of Pokémon sleeping faces, creating a soothing atmosphere perfect for commemorative photos. A message corner will also let visitors write on berry-themed cards and display them around Snorlax to celebrate the app’s third anniversary together.

Mega Pokémon Gacha

On the third floor of Landmark Plaza, a “Mega Pokémon Gacha” machine will dispense Pokémon Sleep-designed muffler towels, randomly selected from four different designs.

Exclusive Goods Shop

A dedicated Pokémon Sleep Shop will open at MARK IS Minatomirai, stocking event-exclusive merchandise including:

• A Pokémon 30th Anniversary pin badge and cushion featuring the Pokémon Sleep logo, marking the franchise’s 30th anniversary
• A Snorlax BIG cushion measuring approximately 70 cm wide by 60 cm tall
• Shopping bags and T-shirts using the 3rd anniversary key visual
• A sleeping-face photo-inspired carry pouch, clear bottle, bucket hat, and “Oyasumi Pukkuri Stickers” (puffy sleeping-face stickers)

Pokémon Sleep Drink Stand and Nap Experience

Between stamp-hunting sessions, visitors can stop by the Pokémon Sleep Drink Stand, which serves four drinks inspired by in-game items, including “Hayaoki Coffee Jelly” (early-riser coffee jelly) and “Akuma no Kiss Fruits Olé” (devil’s kiss fruit au lait).

MARK IS Minatomirai will also host “Ohirune Kaifuku Sochi supported by TOTONE,” a midday rest experience featuring Monster Ball-designed TOTONE devices presented with Pokémon Sleep-themed production.
