The summer 2026 anime Seihantai na Kimi to Boku (You and I Are Polar Opposites) Season 2 has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 15, “Yuku Toshi Kuru Toshi” (The Passing Year), set to air on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
About the Series
Seihantai na Kimi to Boku is a romantic comedy based on the manga by Agasawa Koucha, which ran in Jump+ until 2024 and has surpassed 2.1 million copies in circulation including digital editions, earning numerous manga awards. The story follows Suzuki, an energetic girl who worries too much about what others think, and Tani, a quiet boy who is never afraid to speak his mind — two polar opposites who slowly come to understand and respect each other amid their school lives and friendships.
The TV anime’s first season aired from January 2026 to wide acclaim. Season 2 continues under director Nagatomo Takakazu with animation studio Lapin Track.

Season 2 began airing on Sunday, July 5, 2026, on the MBS/TBS network across 28 stations nationwide every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. It is also available for same-day streaming on ABEMA and Prime Video at 5:30 p.m. every Sunday. AT-X broadcasts the series from Friday, July 10, every Friday at 10:00 p.m., with repeat airings on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m.
