About the Series
The manga is drawn by Higashihata, based on the original novel by Yuhibara. The story follows Nina Uesato, an overworked office employee at a notoriously demanding company, who is suddenly summoned to another world.
Brought to the royal capital as a supposed “saint,” Nina is swiftly banished due to a misunderstanding. She sets off on a journey alongside Keel, a fluffy sacred beast, with an unlikely companion in tow: her rice cooker, which was summoned alongside her and blessed by a god — granting it the ability to produce an endless supply of cooked rice.
The series blends gourmet fantasy and isekai adventure as Nina travels the unknown world, crafting delicious onigiri (rice balls) from ingredients she discovers along the way. It’s a heartwarming tale of food, friendship, and finding one’s place in a strange new land.
