The first volume of Seiryaku Kekkon no Aite ni “Watashi no Koto Suki ni Natte” to Oinori Shita Kekka — loosely translated as The Result of Wishing “Please Fall in Love with Me” to My Arranged-Marriage Partner — went on sale today, June 12, published under Kill Time Communication’s Breeze Comics imprint. The manga is drawn by Shishika Hatori and adapts an original novel by Shirohi.
Story
Mikuru, a kind-hearted young noblewoman, finds herself betrothed to Alvis, the heir to a marquis family, in a purely political arrangement. Despite the circumstances, she longs to build a warm, loving home — but Alvis greets her with nothing but cold indifference. At her wit’s end, Mikuru sneaks up to the sleeping Alvis and whispers a little charm: “Please fall in love with me.” To her astonishment, his attitude begins to shift the very next morning. The series follows the sweet, comedic push-and-pull between a cool marquis heir with secrets and the gentle-hearted girl who may have accidentally cast a spell on his heart.
