The official main PV for the TV anime Sekai Saikyō no Kōei: Meikyūkoku no Shinjin Tansakusha (World’s Strongest Rear Guard: A Novice Seeker in the Labyrinth Nation) has been released, giving fans their most comprehensive look yet at the upcoming summer 2026 series.
About the Series and Main PV
Based on the light novel by Tōwa (Kadokawa BOOKS), the story follows Arihito, a man reincarnated into the “Labyrinth Nation” who becomes the world’s most powerful rear-guard support — capable of attacking, defending, and healing all at once — as he grows alongside a cast of distinctive heroines in an otherworldly adventure.
The main PV features voice performances from all eight principal cast members. It highlights intense combat sequences in which party members deploy their skills against monsters, as well as quieter moments of everyday camaraderie. The video also previews the opening theme 「license」 by Redhair Rosy and the ending theme 「終わらない夜の守り方」 (Owaranai Yoru no Mamorikata) by Inner Journey.

Ahead of the television premiere on July 5, 2026, ABEMA will stream an exclusive pre-broadcast special on its Anime Channel on June 27, 2026 at 21:00 JST. Appearing on the program will be:
