Plott has announced its new short anime 「楽楽飯店」(Rakuraku Hanten), set to launch on the dedicated YouTube channel “楽楽飯店” in late September 2026. A teaser PV featuring character voices and full cast information have been released alongside the announcement.

Story

The series follows Tenma, a young man with no family or ties, who is searching for a man named Mukyoku — someone who once showed him kindness. His search leads him to join a mafia family, where he fights rival organizations and grows as a person. The show blends action-packed battles with the bonds forged within the mafia family.

Amon Nikata (Character Design)

The Asian-flavored world resonated strongly with my own artistic style, and I had a wonderful time designing the characters. I aimed for designs that would become even more appealing in motion, and I’m genuinely excited to see them come to life.

Kamada Mikiyasu (Main Scenario)

I was drawn to this project by its unique setting and vivid characters. I worried about whether I could do justice to their appeal, but once I started writing, they moved naturally and vibrantly on their own. Please enjoy the drama, mischief, comedy, and heated battles they weave together!

Yoshikawa Yukihiro (as Tenma)

Tenma is straightforward, passionate, and just a little bit lovably dim. He’s a capable fighter, but what I find most compelling about him is the gentleness that lets him connect with others’ weaknesses. I hope everyone can watch him grow alongside us.

Yoshimura Yu (as Shia)

Shia is cool, has a strong sense of justice, and cares deeply for his comrades — but he also has a stubborn, endearing side. I hope you’ll watch over him warmly.

Sasa Tsubasa (as Paoran)

Paoran has so much charm that I find myself working hard every time I get a new script to express it fully. The recording sessions have been lively and fun — I look forward to every single one.

Masumoto Takuya (as Gao)

Gao is a mysterious guy who always wears a mask. Every character in this show has a strong personality, so please look forward to it!

Kobayashi Chikahiro (as Rei)

We’re all having a great time making this together. There are a lot of new experiences involved in how this project is being put out, and I’m excited to see where it goes. Every time I finish recording I end up craving fried rice (laughs). Please look forward to it!

Kohana Ai (as Chaomi)

Rakuraku Hanten hits hard with both its battles and its visuals! Anyone who loves cool fight scenes from shonen manga is going to love this. Chaomi looks cute but is absolutely wild — she’s the best. If I had to give the show a subtitle, it’d be “Encyclopedia of Delinquents.” Find your favorite delinquent!

The teaser PV, now available on the “楽楽飯店” YouTube channel, features voice performances from the main cast. The series is scheduled to begin streaming in late September 2026.
