The production team behind the summer 2026 anime Suterareta Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi: Kakure Skill de Camping Car wo Shoukan Shimashita (The Abandoned Saintess’s Otherworld Food Journey: I Summoned a Motorhome with a Hidden Skill) has released the synopsis and preview stills for Episode 1, titled “Isekai Trout Fishing! ~With a Side of Oni~”, set to air on Monday, July 6, 2026.
About the Series
The anime is based on the novel series by Yoneori, published under KADOKAWA’s “KadokawaBOOKS” imprint, which has surpassed a cumulative 600,000 copies sold. It follows a girl on a gourmet journey through another world. The series is directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa, with animation production handled by EMT Squared and production cooperation from Ankichi Kobo.
Story Overview
Rin — full name Kotorinaши Rin — is summoned to another world alongside a group of pretty high school girls, only to be deemed useless for her seemingly worthless skills and cast out alone. But Rin isn’t particularly bothered. Her so-called “trash” abilities — [Motorhouse], the camping vehicle she nicknames “Mo-chan,” and [Survival Strategy] — turn out to be godlike skills. Embracing solo camping and cooking just as she did back home, Rin soon finds companions gathering around her one by one.
Episode 1 Synopsis
After being unceremoniously banished from the castle, Rin shrugs it off with a cheerful “Well, whatever — I can camp in another world too!” and casts her fishing line into a nearby lake. Before long, an oni (demon) comes floating downstream from a river close by. Marking her very first close encounter with a native of this world, Rin decides there is only one thing to do: sit down for a meal.
