The official website for the The Vermillion Mask (Shuiro no Kamen) anime, based on the manga by Dr.Poro and Nabana Naba, announced on Tuesday that Yuya Tegoshi, vocalist of the rock band T.N.T, will voice a guest character in the anime’s 12th episode — which also serves as the finale of the first part of the series.
T.N.T, who also serves as the anime’s PR ambassador, is set to host a special program on October 7 and a simultaneous watch party alongside the broadcast of the anime’s second episode on October 17.
Synopsis
The story centers on Peru, a young apprentice mask maker who loses control under the influence of a cursed mask, accidentally slaying both his master and his comrades. Consumed by guilt, Peru embarks on a journey to destroy the legendary masks his master once crafted, encountering unexpected allies and dangerous enemies along the way. The result is a gripping tale of redemption in which both Peru’s soul and the fate of the world hang in the balance.
