TV anime Tomb Raider King (盗掘王) has revealed the synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 1, “Starting Over from the End,” set to air on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, on Fuji TV’s B8station block.
About Tomb Raider King
Based on a Korean webtoon that has surpassed 500 million cumulative global reads, the series follows a man who claws his way back from the depths of hell as an avatar of revenge. He “steals” the powers of mythical relics one by one to crush every enemy in his path, in a high-octane supernatural action story.
Episode 1 Synopsis
In 2025, mysterious “Tombs” suddenly appear across the world, throwing society into chaos. The “Relics” hidden within each Tomb grant extraordinary abilities to whoever possesses them, and many have already exploited this power to amass enormous wealth.
Ryoka Goriki is one such person — a tomb raider who uses Relic-granted abilities to make his living. But when his employer, Yasumasa Okawara, betrays him and leaves him for dead inside a Tomb, Ryoka finds himself at death’s door.
At that moment, a mysterious “Crow Relic” speaks to him and saves his life. When Ryoka opens his eyes again, he discovers he has been thrown back in time 15 years — to the very moment the Tombs first appeared in the world.
Burning with rage toward Okawara, and armed with his memories and knowledge of the future, Ryoka sets his sights on every ruler who has seized power and wealth through Relics. He will climb to the very top of the world and become the true “Tomb Raider King” — and so begins his epic reversal of fate.
