Touken Ranbu – ICE BLADE –, the very first ice show in the Touken Ranbu franchise, has unveiled a newly drawn key visual titled Tōken Danshi Image on Ice ver., assembling all eight Tōken Danshi in a single stunning illustration. Alongside the visual reveal, a lottery for guaranteed arena seats opened at noon on July 31, 2026.

About Touken Ranbu ONLINE

Touken Ranbu ONLINE is a sword-raising simulation game that has surpassed a cumulative 14 million users. Players take on the role of a “Saniwa” — a master who awakens the spirits sleeping within famous swords, bringing them to life as warrior “Tōken Danshi” — and lead them into battle to protect history. The game features eight sword types to collect and train, from tantō and wakizashi to ōdachi, naginata, and more.

New Key Visual: Eight Tōken Danshi on Ice

The key visual was drawn from scratch by the original Touken Ranbu ONLINE staff specifically for this production. It captures the speed and glittering brilliance unique to ice skating, featuring all eight characters: Mikazuki Munechika, Kashū Kiyomitsu, Yamato no Kami Yasusada, Yamabakiri Kunihiro, Hizamaru, Heshikiri Hasebe, Tsurumaru Kuninaga, and Yamabakiri Nagayoshi. The image expresses the “flash of a blade” as the Tōken Danshi race freely across the silver rink. Solo visuals for each of the eight characters, as well as visuals for other cast members, will be released on a rolling basis.

Arena Seat Guarantee Lottery

From noon on July 31, 2026, a lottery for guaranteed arena seats opened to fans who have already purchased and paid for a reserved-seat ticket (¥19,000 including tax). Winners pay an additional ¥4,000 to secure an arena-zone seat; those who do not win the lottery can still attend using their original ticket. A ticket resale system will launch from noon on August 30, 2026, allowing lottery winners to list either their full booking or their companion’s ticket for resale. Further details on the resale period and listing process will be posted on the official website.

Story

The year is 2205. A faction known as the “Historical Revisionists” has begun attacking the past in an attempt to alter history. To stop them, the Government of Time dispatches “Saniwa” — individuals with the power to awaken the spirits sleeping within objects and grant them the strength to fight. The Tsukumogami born from this power, the Tōken Danshi, throw themselves into battle to protect history.

At a certain Honmaru protected by five shrines representing the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water), a special duty has been entrusted: to watch over the Gisho — “false texts” that distort, rewrite, and devour true history.

Then one day, a five-headed dragon called Gozuryū suddenly attacks the Honmaru. The shrines are destroyed, and the five elemental spirits are scattered into the false texts. In that moment, deep within the Honmaru, an Ice Spirit awakens…

Can Mikazuki Munechika and the Tōken Danshi rescue the five elemental spirits from the warped “false history” created by the Gisho? The Tōken Danshi’s new battle — ICE BLADE — is about to begin.
