ยูกิโกะ นิไคโด นักพากย์เสียงชาวญี่ปุ่น เจ้าของเสียงฟูจิโกะ มิเนะ ใน Lupin the 3rd

Yukiko Nikaido, a Japanese actress and voice actress celebrated for her role as Fujiko Mine in the first Lupin the 3rd television anime series, passed away on July 3 due to old age. She was 87.

The news was shared on Facebook by her son, Sōsuke Yagyū, via the page of Yatsugatake Club — a horticulture facility, restaurant, and gallery located in Yamanashi Prefecture, of which Nikaido served as founding president. Yagyū noted that his mother had been living in a nursing home for the 11 years preceding her death.

Career and Legacy

Born in Tokyo in 1938, Nikaido trained at the Haiyuza Theatre Company and went on to appear in numerous afternoon serialized dramas after graduating. Following the birth of her first son, she shifted her focus to voice acting.

She is best remembered for bringing Fujiko Mine to life in the original Lupin the 3rd TV anime (1971–1972). Her other notable voice roles include Anna in Marco – From the Apennines to the Andes and its theatrical film adaptation, as well as Sugaru in Kamui Gaiden: Tsukihigai no Maki.

With her passing, the anime industry loses one of its pioneering voices — an artist whose performances helped define some of the most beloved classics in Japanese animation history.
