Story
Yukishiro Sōji leads a double life as a fantasy fiction author and a visiting professor at Hoshinata University. He possesses the rare ability to purify “Kegare” — a form of spiritual pollution — and draws on these encounters to fuel his writing.
His part-time assistant, first-year student Usami Shiina, has his own unusual gift: due to a traumatic event in his past, he can see supernatural beings and aberrant entities that are invisible to ordinary people.
When the unlikely pair hears a strange rumor about the “Ghost Story of the Hexagonal Mansion,” the two are drawn into a chilling investigation that puts both their abilities to the test.
