The TV anime Yuruyuru Zukan (ゆるゆる図鑑) has announced five additional voice cast members and confirmed its broadcast premiere date of Sunday, October 4, 2026, airing weekly at 7:00 a.m. across the TV Tokyo network’s six affiliated stations in the “Animori!” programming block.

About the Series

Yuruyuru Zukan is based on the illustrated encyclopedia series of the same name published by Gakken. Built around the concept of making even scary creatures approachable through cute illustrations and four-panel manga strips, the series teaches viewers about animal ecology, surprising facts, and fun trivia. The anime is directed by Abe Keizo, with Nitta Emi voicing a pigeon character.

Fukushima Jun

I voiced a whole range of dinosaurs, and the recording brought back memories of visiting a museum with my mother as a child, the dinosaur figurines I had all over my room, and the field guides I read until the covers wore out. I was genuinely excited throughout the whole session. I hope everyone falls in love with dinosaurs through the adorable visuals and our voices!

Nagaoka Ryuho

During recording I kept the laid-back, lovable world of the dinosaurs at the forefront of my performance. Every dinosaur has such a distinct personality that I found myself growing attached to all of them. I hope viewers can sit back, relax, and enjoy it.

Uchida Aya

Yuruyuru Kyoryu Zukan is now an anime! It’s a show where you can learn about dinosaurs in a warm, easygoing way. The four of us — Fukushima-san, Nagaoka-san, Tokui-san, and I — voice all the main dinosaurs, and we had a great time discussing each character’s traits and sounds with the production staff. During breaks, Nitta-san — a huge dinosaur fan — shared all sorts of knowledge with us, and I ended up loving dinosaurs even more. Please look forward to it!

Tokui Sora

I’m so happy to have voiced so many different dinosaurs! The artwork is incredibly cute, just as the “yuruyuru” name suggests, and every episode had me excited to discover new dinosaur facts. It’s a show both kids and adults can enjoy together — please look forward to it!

Kidachi Moeko

I used to find dinosaurs a little scary, but watching Yuruyuru Zukan made me think how wonderful it would be if creatures this cute actually existed. I’m so glad to have been part of a work that makes learning fun. Please enjoy it in a nice, relaxed “yuruyuru” way!
