To celebrate the release of 「新劇場版☆ケロロ軍曹 復活して速攻地球滅亡の危機であります！」 (Shingekijoban Keroro Gunso: Fukkatsu shite Sokkō Chikyū Metsubō no Kiki de Arimasu!) on June 26, 2026, the production side has announced the first official collaboration in history between the Keroro Gunso (ケロロ軍曹) franchise and Mobile Suit Gundam (機動戦士ガンダム), along with special illustrations and a clip from the film.
Special Illustrations by Two Legendary Artists
This collaboration includes four brand-new illustrations, divided into two sets. The first set was drawn by Mine Yoshizaki (吉崎観音), creator of Keroro, with artwork designed as an homage to the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy. The second set was drawn by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko (安彦良和), the legendary artist who designed the early Gundam characters. His illustration warmly shows Amuro Ray, Char Aznable, and Sergeant Keroro standing shoulder to shoulder.
Film Clip: Gundam Appears to Help Keroro
In addition to the illustrations, a clip from the film has also been released. It opens with narration saying, “Here it is, that familiar thing from Keroro Gunso,” before showing the Keroro Platoon facing an overwhelmingly powerful mysterious invader. As they fall into a desperate situation, Gundam, the robot Sergeant Keroro has always adored, suddenly appears.
Special Collaboration Plastic Models
To build on fans’ excitement, the company has announced two special plastic model releases:
- ケロロ軍曹プラモコレクション ケロロロボMk-II（ティターンズカラー） — Keroro Robo Mk-II in Titans colors, releasing on June 26, 2026.
- RG 1/144 RX-178 ガンダムMk-II（ケロロ仕様） — Gundam Mk-II in “Keroro spec,” available through the Premium Bandai Hobby Online Shop.
Theater Merchandise
For moviegoers at participating theaters, excluding some locations, special merchandise will be available for purchase, including large acrylic stands, inner-tube-style keychains, two-piece hair clip sets, and more. The ケロロロボMk-II（ティターンズカラー） model will also be sold at theaters.
