Synopsis

The story follows girls growing up in a school that trains them to become weapons of war. Sheena, a 14-year-old who cannot accept her own fate, meets a small blood-covered girl named Mimi one night, setting the story in motion. The original manga is published by Ichijinsha and currently has eight volumes.

Comments from Cast and Artists

Yumi Uchiyama (Fran)

After reading the original work, I was deeply moved by the fragility and warmth woven through the story. I tried my best to express Fran-sensei’s quiet strength, kindness, delicate emotions, and the way she watches over her students. I hope everyone looks forward to the broadcast.

Ai Kayano (Omi)

Omi, the character I play, is a teacher who instructs students in how to kill people, or in other words, how to survive. What do those seemingly emotionless eyes reflect? Just thinking about it gives me an indescribable feeling. Please do not miss even a moment of these girls as they shine.

ReoNa (Opening Theme Artist)

I remember picking up the first manga volume six summers ago and reading straight through to volume 3 without stopping. Whenever there is something I love, I find myself thinking about the day I will lose it. Even if the final day cannot be avoided, giving our limited time to one another may itself be a form of love. I put that feeling into “Amore.” I hope it reaches everyone’s hearts as part of “Kimishinu.”

sajou no hana (Ending Theme Artist)

I am very happy and excited to be in charge of this song. I spent a long time thinking about what kind of lyrics would fit a story so full of emotion in a world where death is always nearby. In the end, I wanted to express the preciousness of time spent with someone you love, so I chose the title “Eternel,” meaning “eternal” in French. I hope everyone will love this song together with the beautiful story of these girls.
