Volume 1 of the manga Anata-sama ga “Wasurete Hoshii” to Osshaimashita node – Konyaku Haki Sareta Watashi ga, Juusha kara Dekiaisareru Nante went on sale on June 10 from Takarajimasha. The manga is based on the original novel by Mamako.
Story
Charlotte, a young woman from a baronial family, devotes herself to caring for her sick fiance Joseph. But as Joseph gradually recovers, Charlotte’s own body grows weaker.
Instead of showing gratitude, Joseph breaks off their engagement, claiming that a woman who cannot properly fulfill her role as his fiancee is unfit to become his wife. Even after this injustice, Charlotte is supported by her servant Evan, who stays by her side and helps her slowly recover.
However, the story does not end there. After Joseph abandons Charlotte, he begins to suffer from a mysterious illness himself. The cause is connected to a secret Charlotte has been hiding all along.
