It has been revealed that Koji Mukai of Snow Man will appear in the live-action film 「おそ松さん 人類クズ化計画!!!!!?」 (Osomatsu-san: Jinrui Kuzu-ka Keikaku!!!!!?) as “Former Osomatsu,” or a man who once lived as Osomatsu.
Mukai previously played eldest brother Osomatsu in the first live-action film, 「映画 おそ松さん」, which opened in 2022. His return therefore marks a reunion with a familiar character, even though the role itself is different this time.
Mukai’s Feelings After Accepting the Role
“I was so happy when I received the offer! The shoot lasted only one day, but it made me feel really nostalgic. About three years had passed, but my body still remembered the feeling, so I could get into the role right away. The only thing that felt a little strange was the new version of the wig, because I liked the old one better. (Laughs) This time a new set of sextuplets joins the film. Since Snow Man has nine members, we understand how hard it can be to shoot with a large group. It looks really fun, everyone has their own personality, and I think this version is even closer to the original than ours was. Snow Man wants to help build excitement too, so please go see it in theaters!”
Cast and Staff
The six brothers in this film are played by Aぇ! group, together with Richard Keita Kusama and Takuya Nishimura. The film also features many other cast members, including Miho Watanabe, Yusuke Onuki, Naenano, Iori Noguchi (=LOVE), Hiroki Miyake, Tae Kimura, Hitomi Miyauchi, Yudaiji Chiba, and Eiichiro Funakoshi.
